LAG, Chop, Freeze.
Hola,
Quick question if anyone know how to answer it.
Every time an Airstrike is called in I cannot do anything because my screen lags down, chops, freezes up however you'd like to say it.
Also happens when I see someone die that has the bomb on S&D. (on our team) When it says They've dropped the bomb. and when I pick the bomb up and it says We've got the Bomb. And with claymores going off, prety much with any explosion.
I've been told its an audio issue. But I dont know how to fix it. Any Suggestions would be greatly helpful. I've got the newest drivers for the hardware, and newest updates for everything.
I run a SoundBlaster Live 5.1 Sound card, if that is of any use.

Re: LAG, Chop, Freeze.
Do you have the program called Fraps to check your fps in game? It may be a video issue or it could be a sound issue. Also please follow Kins suggestion as it will help us help you.

Re: LAG, Chop, Freeze.
make sure the audio in game is set to Stereo instead of Windows Default. That might help.

Re: LAG, Chop, Freeze.
my system specs... well dont laugh..
CPU -Pentium D - 805 - OC at 2.8ghz
MOBO - Gigabyte GA-945GCM-S2
Ram - OCZ - Gold - 2gig DDR2
HD -250gig
Video - Nvidia Geforce 7300 -256mb-GDDR3
Audio - SoundBlaster Live 5.1
.................................................. ..........
I know the Video is a little lacking, but it runs the game fine at a constant 60-80FPS except when those things happen.
I have everything that can be turned off, and turned to low that can be.
Hopefuly that helps out.

Re: LAG, Chop, Freeze.
7300 <---- That right there might be the source of all your problems. That card was a low end card when it was new, now it's a paper weight. Sorry, not trying to be mean but you should start saving some coin for a 9600gt or a 3850. Do you have agp or PCI-e on your mobo?

I get an average fps of about 25-30. Not great, but it's playable.Contact Me ~ CoD Contact an Admin Forum ~ CoD Rules & SOPs

Re: LAG, Chop, Freeze.
Thats not bad really. Good luck with the new build, good time to do it as well. The new P45 boards will be out and the next gen video cards. Let me know what your build list is when your ready and I can give you some opinions (not that I'm an expert by any means but can give you a different perspective)
