Can I use a 5.1 onboard soundcard to play COD4?
It's a soundMax Audio digital 5.1.I have a extreme gammer but had to take out because of conflict with a ATI 650HD TV Tuner.

Have you tried it already and it doesn't work or are you asking will it work?
I don't see any reason it won't work as long as it has up to date drivers? You may have to play around with the sound options in game to get the best performance from it? I would test and the reply.

No haven't tried it yet...I was wondering. The thing is my logetic have 3 male connectors and there is only 1 sond input on the onboard sound along with the mic and line in.I used a 2 way splitter so i get front and rear, but no center.Anyway around this?I have two splitters.....I could try.Is this a good idea? What do you do with yours?
Just got a new hardrive so i'm doing fresh install of the game.Lost all my favorite servers to.....
Do you guys know if there is 1 big incremental patch or do you still have install the 4 patches to 1.7?
