    Exclamation CoD W@W Problems!

    Hey guys,

I bought this game once it came out and installed it right away. But it seems REALLY slow. I am talking about 5 minutes for it even to load to the menu screen and another 5 minutes for it to get in-game (Single Player).

When I do finally get in game, it is really choppy and slow. I know my laptop can handle it because it plays CoD4 and PR without an problems or lag. I even turned all the settings down to low. I still get the same results.

    Here are my laptop specs:

Processor: 2.40 gigahertz AMD Turion 64
OS: Windows XP Media Center Edition Service Pack 3 (build 2600)
    RAM: 2048 Megabytes Installed Memory
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GS

    Any ideas?

I had basically the same problem. The game was unplayable, but my COD4 worked great.

    Q9550 2.83GHz Quad
    4GB RAM
    8800GT 512MB
    XP Pro SP3

Tried everything to get this to work, no avail.

Set up a dual boot to Vista 64 and it runs great.

Sorry, I have no idea why.
