COD:WaW Mega Thread!

I just wanted to point out people who may not own a 360 that I am able to play the beta version of COD WaW and it is awesome. I didn't think that COD could get much better but yeah it's really fun. I probably will buy it. I was hesitant to buy it immeadiately but now I think I am going to buy it for PC when it comes out. They have some kinks to work out like one thing I saw was juggernaut makes you a little to hard to kill. And weapon damage needs to be fixed. The artillery shells are awesome, its just like COD4 and when you get 7 kills you gets attack dogs that beat a heli anyday. These dogs are really tough to kill and there are lots of em. You can kill them but it's really hard because they are fast. I think it's a much better reward for 7 kills than a heli. But yeah I just wanted to throw my 2 cents worth into it.

i'm getting it for PC. its using the COD4 engine and keeping the perks/upgrades tree with some editions/edits.. should be entertaining even if it is Treyarch at the helm.

is there a hardcore mode? or is the damage very little like standard cod4?

It looks very much the same as CoD4, but sounds like it's good. How do you get into the beta?

I don't know I got an email and gave me a code to get into it. It said "You have been choosen to play Call of Duty: World at War beta." then it told me other stuff like how to get in and all that. And yes there is a hardcore mode. Also many of the perks in COD4 are still there but renamed. Also there are vehicle perks when you drive a tank. One thing I don't like is the tanks have a very very slow rate of fire and a bazooka will take you out easy. Oh yea the graphics are much better. But all in all it's pretty fun. Not what I expected.

see i just don't know if this game is going to be worth the fifty bucks that it is going to cost me. i mean, the reason why i bought COD4 was b/c of the "modern warfare" and the fact that its one of the better games that i have played in a long time.... now are we planing on putting/hosting servers for this title?? if so then it'll be put on the purchase list now.... if not ill wait for another great title to come out that TG will host

Seems like this will have a server if not 2 of its own the day it hits from the sound of peoples reactions..

I also like the "modern" part..but if it is a good game, and we can play it TG style, then I am all for it..I would think at that point the CoD2 server would turn into the WaW server..but it is not up to me..that is Bubba's headache
