jeez guys... i got to level 18... with 3 random people. Also dunno if you guys know this but the best gameplan is not to go upstairs but stay downstairs in the spawn room till about lvl 5 then go into the other bottom floor room. there is a box there with random wep's use that for your good guns it gives you a ray gun-one hit kill flamethrowers and MG's and all the other weps even molotov's. Round level 8 or 9 retreat into that room with two guys covering the door and the other 2 covering the windows and the hole in the wall. Grenades rarely do much cept blow off their legs which only slows them down. A little fun thing to do is if you have one zombie left distract him and repair all the windows but pull back again into the room. It's best if the 2 guys on the door have MG's a raygun and a flamethrower the other guys should usually have a ray gun and whatever the heck else they want. For the door the guy with the flamethrower keeps up a constant stream while the machinegunner uses his gun and when he runs outta ammo the flamethrower pulls out his Mg and fires till the other guy can reload. switch off like that. and remember AIM FOR THE HEAD!!!
also flamethrowers are only really good for croud control best thing is to light 'em up and knife to head.

THIS PLAN WORKS!!!! (to a point)
We're not retreating, we're advancing in another direction

Meh.. only n00bs need ray guns and mg's. I and my clannies got to level 11 with only the first room guns. Garands and Carbines ftw.

Bronco, Michael, Birdie and myself teamed up earlier and got to level 14. Not bad as this is my first day with the game

I unlocked the back door for us and Birdie got a flamethrower and Michael ended up with a ray gun. I wanna get that one in MP, lol. I used a double barrel shotty most of the time. Up until level 13 it seemed to be effective if I let em get close enough.

I think the Zombie mode on WaW is what Left4Dead should have been. I am having a hard time finding coop games though for the Zombie mode. Anyone else tried?

From what I have read on the CallOfDuty.com forums, a lot of people are having problems connecting to online co-op games. So far as I have seen on those forums, no response has been issued by Activision or Treyarch concerning any of the weird problems reported with CoD WaW.

Maybe we can try one evening this week and get a lot further along than we did..
and yes, I got killed about 5 times from those nades.....LMAO

I got to level 10 with 3 random people earlier. We held the first room until about level 5 or 6, then opened up the second room. I grabbed the Thompson and a Double-Barreled Shotgun... made me feel like Father Grigori! We all went down at about the same time, I was desperately trying to revive someone and then all the barriers collapsed at once!

Seriously good fun, and as I can't get Left 4 Dead, this will see me well into 2009!
