Pre-Order Weapons Key
Ok, I preordered this and picked it up on the 12th.
Just now got around to loading it, and my first impressions are that it is very lacking.
Anyway, because I pre-ordered I have a key to unlock an M1A early in the game (by the way not even a real WWII weapon).
It says to enter your key in the EXTRAS section.
I absolutley cannot find where to enter this key.
Can anyone help me out with this?

what platform for starters.
m1a was used by marines vs japanese so yes it did exist during ww2.
if its pc perhaps under options/multiplay?

I did all that and it does not work for me. No M1.

I have no Extras option.
And by the way the M14 "was adopted by the U.S. military 1957"
Whoever thought that it was in WWII might have been thinking of a BAR or a Johnson.

Insert your DVD into your drive and that splash screen will appear. That extras option is not in the main interface.

I have installed the code and all but still no un-lock.

I pre-oredered mine and had no idea you could unlock the M1a. The fg42 was unlocked though.

The M1A1 thing stinks anyways..there are lots better to use IMHO..
That fg42 is a BEAST..!!!

M1A1 is a lvl 65 achievement...
Preorders are lame.
Just like in 2142 remember that gun? Couldnt even see the right side of the screen when you used it.

I have picked them up from players I offed and trid it, and it stinks..
My fav now is the one that looks like an AK..I think it is the MP44..?
IT is a FREAKING awesome multi-purpose gun with a reticle on it..

ya noticed that there.. m14 was post ww2 and was based off of the garand if i am not mistaken.
i'm enjoying the fg42 with scope.. whee!

The M1A is the civilian version of the M14 (just semi auto, no select fire).
It is the exact same rifle as the M21 in COD4 without the ARTII scope.
It was developed off of the M1 Garand, the caliber was changed from .30-06 to 7.62x51mm, 20 round box magazine became standard, and select fire was added.
