All rejoice the coming of a WaW MOD..!!
In talking with Bubba this weekend, he received an email touting features of the new, soon to be released Open Warfare Mod for Cod5.
What was the very best part of what I heard you ask? The ability in the mod to MOVE THE BOMBSITES..!!
So even though we will not have any custom maps for a little while, Bubba will be able to move the bombsites to where they should have been, and "fix" the current maps to where it will play more "TG" style..!!
Now..there really is a "brighter" future for this game..!
Now to figure out how to make it work on a server..!
C'mon Bubba..!!

I played the OW mod on the TL server and they had different bomb locations. We were able to utilize the whole map on Seelow! Was freaking sweet!

As soon as I can figure out the problem with the game string I will get it up for a test run.
It has the tools to move the bomb sites around to where we want. Wish we had that for the CoD 4 mod.

Amen brothers! Now everybody join hands and let's sing "praise the bubba"-song!

Kidding aside, this opens up possibilities.

Re: All rejoice the coming of a WaW MOD..!!
we played some on an OpenWarfare modded server last night. It corrupted Bronco's video drivers for some reason.
I dunno if it was their setup or what but Overkill and Dead Silence didn't work.
Other than that it was nice.
It got kind of frustrating since they allowed people running immediately into your spawn, but other than the above, the mod itself was solidContact Me ~ CoD Contact an Admin Forum ~ CoD Rules & SOPs

That's one thing that HAS to get fixed in the mod. If they are gonna allow the restriction of certain perks, it would be nice to know which ones by not letting them be selectable, or if you pick a custom class, it should tell you which perks aren't in use on the server, but as far as I know it's not the case ATM.
