1,000 points per kill?
So I'm tooling around the WAW servers.
I hop on a server called "aaaaa Death Syndicate" First thing I notice is my first kill I get 1,000 points. I figured I just didn't notice on the other servers how many points I was getting then I leveled up twice in one round.
Someone asked why you got so many points for a kill and the server admin said that it's a legal setting allowed even on ranked servers.
Anyone heard of this??A captain of the most awesome IHS ever and remember to burn before you pillage.

I lvled up on a 20,000 per kill one. Im not the only one in TG who used that server either

Yea, power leveling is lame. Not a good way to show your true colors IMHO. You will never see a TG server with those settings.

Re: 1,000 points per kill?
IN the end how ever you feel it is just a game.
It isnt about ranks or badges.
What it is about is the ability to play with your mates and have a good time. Again this is all covered in the Primer.

Re: 1,000 points per kill?
That is true, it is a game. But do we not enforce exploits here at TG? If there was no exploit in getting a power rank would it change the game play? I think not. We all would be almost equal in the beginning and depending on your skill you would advance. I just show on our server. It is not being populated due to the fact that everyone goes elsewhere to rank up instead of playing the game as it was designed.
Where in the Primer does it cover using the exploits of the game to enhance your abilities over others?
Using the exploit is about ranks and badges. The faster you rank the faster you get your unlocks = your higher score, ie kills etc...

Re: 1,000 points per kill?
I made it to regular level 65 on my own, so all my guns were unlocked anyway, so I don't see the harm in doing it to get my extra create-a-classes.
Don't really see it as an exploit either as the servers are configured that way via settings in their server config files.

Re: 1,000 points per kill?
It did feel dirty and I said it over and over again.
But I had already completed every challenge and unlock with no, NO prestige.
It did seem odd that Overmatched servers are working and giving away XP and are also ranked. If it is a server setting then it really isnt an exploit.

Remember Treyarch made this game...................
I'm almost positive in saying, they didn't design the game to play out that way.

Call me nuts, well I am, anyway I called Treyarch in Santa Monica, and asked them that question, I hope for a response. And yes I got pretty far up in the food chain…
