My mouse.
Well, you won't hear any more complaining from me about my mouse.
Finally took it apart to have a look see and couldn't tell what was wrong.... tried to put it back together but there were these 2 tiny pieces of metal (a clip and a spring) that I had no idea where to put. Did some googling, found a site with pics showing where they went and saw where someone was having the same problem as me. Turns out it was a faulty USB cord. Luckily, I had the extra USB mouse layin around, so I swapped out the cords, put the MX518 back together and it's like brand new!!

Re: My mouse.
Great piece of work. I enjoy repairing computer stuff. Took in a dimension 4300 today to rebuild for my folks. I had an upgrade processor lying around and went from 1.6 to 2.66 just like that.

Re: My mouse.
Nicely done KD. It's always nice trying to fix something and it works out in the end.
I just took an external hard drive that didn't work from my work. Removed the hard drive and plugged it into my home computer. It must of had a bad power supply cause, now I have two hard drives in my cpu. Thanks work!
