We are working on allowing the demo class to disarm betties and satchel charges. As of right now anyone can disarm a betty, if you crawl up to them, but we're gonna try and limit it to the demo class only.

Okay folks,
SOG would like to cordially invite you to come play on our CoD5 server tomorrow night (Friday night), and check out our new mod. Between 5 and 9 PM Pacific time.
It's still considered a work in progress, but I think it's pretty close to what we are going for.
I will be unlocking the server tomorrow night so the public can join as well.

If an admin or moderator of this forum allows me, I will post the IP (I like to get clearance first).

I will be back later. From what I have seen so far, the mod is great.
My 2 cents: Nurf the run. It could turn into a run and gun.

I played it tonight and as well as bringing these to the WaW server a rendition for Server 2 would look appealing.
I was impressed with the more realistic recoil and the natural speed the weapons take to fire. Gameplay was more a fire fight and rewarded team play. I found it to be a very immersive experience and will want to spend more time testing these configs.

Well, first off I want to say thanks for joining!
We had a decent response tonight. We had some fun games when you guys were there, and after you guys left we had a little break and then reseeded the server and had other players join and had some great games.
Overall the game play was awesome. We realized some tweaks that need to be addressed for furture play, and we also plan on doing some class and perk adjustments.
We will nerf the run a little bit, it's set at 4 seconds now, and I'm gonna drop it to 3 seconds.
We are probably gonna remove the Medic class for now and replace it with a CQB/Mout class.
I dunno if anyone else tried the demo class, but the metal detector was awesome and added to the immersion of assaulting. The Second Chance mode also added an awesome element to gameplay.
I think with a few more tweaks we might have a winner here for tactical play.
Hope you all enjoyed it, and if you missed it we'll plan on doing another game/mod test night soon.

Great job SOG. Everything was really nice, the recoil, the massive smoke, and the wep sounds.
I only got a chance to run the medic kit. Managed to get a revive or 2
The run could be dialed down just a bit but you guys definitely have a winner.

I think the mod is headed in the right direction. Its in a good playable state but does have a little ways more to go. When its done and we can start to make maps geared more towards the mod and play style we are aiming for. I think that it will be one of the more unique waw servers out there.

We're doing another mod test night on Wednesday Night (March 18th).
We've changed quite a bit of the mod, and would like you guys to come by again and check it out.

Well you have your wish, the mod now has a Perk for defusing betty's and the charge's.
I will be making more custom perks which will continue to be suited for the mod.
I also add 3 more classes to the loadouts
Specops
Recon
Mout/CQB
Specops was added more for fun then realism since I dont belive that they
had thompsons that had aimdot-round drum-silencer.
We will see how that goes over on Wed. so please come out and join us
So we can get imput from everyone as to what else they feel would improve the Mod.
