Night is Falling
Well it is on the SOG Tatical Mod anyways,I have been working on being able to set map look like night time. I currently have 2 modes day and night. Next I will work on a cycle
that you start the map out in morning and it will work its way thru the day till night time "who knows maybe in night time zombies come out LOL" . also working on new FX's for the flare that will come in handy when its night time to light up areas in the battle field for x amount of time. And maybe I will add a flash light perk that you can use.
im very happy that I was able to get this working cause now I dont need to make a night version for my map, which is going to include working spotlights that can be turned on and off and even shoot out the bulb.Last edited by Krag; 04-17-2009 at 04:25 AM.

hope so I dont have all the maps set up to do night since I want to get the cycling working on one map. Then ill go thru and add the rest. Testing my cycling script atm.I'll be doing the tanks soon Bubba got a little distracted with this . Also on another note I went thru the code and updated everything to match the new patch and i also have been going thru and fixing all those errors you see in the console<---- Thank you TRYARCH.

Question, is it possible to add more tank spawns per side for a little tank battles? Maybe increase the damage a little for the bazookas?

As soon as you write the code I will, LOL.well a little update I have the day time cycling between 3 times, a full day cycle will be 14 rounds and you will be able to enable this feature on a per map basis.
I may look into doing rain and snow in the future.
meaning at some point during a map it may start to rain or snow.

the first one is from the first round the one thats looks like afternoon
the second one is more of a night time feel
I plan to not have it so drastic but a slow progression as the rounds go by.
what will make this fun is you'll need to gear up different as the day goes by
and will need to change tactics aswell

Oh, night time will be a lot different. A lot of new places to hide. Just a question, will it be as dark as COD2 night maps? or like COD4 maps which aren't really night?

Darker then COD2 I had an idea today that I might make an FX that looks like the sun up in the sky and move the FX as the day passes.I would like to make this as real as it can be
the flares are going to be what really changes things cause what I plan on doing is if your in some corner and the enemy happens to chuck a flare in to that corner you will be lit up like a candle. I think this will really be fun once Its up and running.I am going to try really hard to atleast get 2 maps setup so we can do a Tuesday test of it.I'll try and take some xfire video of it tonight this will take some testing and alot of trail and error.
