Lag Reports
Sogmod will be off for a day so we can see if the recent lag spikes folks have been reporting continue. If you have a chance, please play a couple of rounds with it off and report if you still experience the lag spikes. Thanks.

I had the opportunity last night to play a little 1v1 with some pubbies before my internet went down for the night. I kept a close eye on my ping and didnt notice any spikes. But, every so often, the game would "hitch". Now, I'm not saying this was lag or the server. It could have very well been my machine doing something retarded.
Hopefully tonight, I can get a 3v3 game going to really test it out.

I played after Mindkill left, and StryBlet too.
He or I didn't experience any lag at all, however we got two servers running the SOG Mod and experience NO LAG.
There is a brief interrupt when Punk Buster does it's thing. You may want to check that, the last clan I belonged to had this issue it got so bad they had to change IPs.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to test the server out. Since the weather has gotten nice, I have been pretty busy with a boatload of outdoor projects.

I'm thinking it's not the box because there are 2 CoD4 servers and 2 CSS servers running on the box as well and there have been no complaints about lag on those recently. We had a similar lag issue on Server 2 with OWP v.1.5.3 that went away when we went to v1.5.4.
Have you folks at SOG or SOB had any issues with your SOGmod servers?

Not that I am aware of Drona. I only experienced lag on the TG server, it seemed like whenever anyone joined was when the stutters happened.
