CLASSES AND ROLES

Sniper

I am not a rifleman. I do not run point.
I do not clear rooms.
I will never run as scout.
I have my place. It is in the back making the long, one shot kills.
I am invisible because I am not there.
I am lethal because I am patient.
I will never have the most kills, but I will have the highest kill/hit/shot ratio.
I do not need extra ammo. I need only one shot.
My reach is long and my aim is true.
I am a sniper and I know my job.

Support

I am not a rifleman. I do not go on point.
I do not shoot a 3-5 round burst to suppress the enemy.
It is my job to suppress the enemy with long bursts. A short burst for me is 8-10 rounds.
I am not a sniper. I do not engage enemies that are over 400 meters away with a short little burst.
I do not engage single enemies while my teammates are trying to get into cover.
I am a decoy. I am lethal because I am distracting.
I am not invisible, I make my team invisible.
It is my job to draw fire.
It is my job to cover my teammates from the rear.
It is my job to distract the enemy while the Demo expert does thier job.
I am a support expert and I know my job.

Rifleman

I am the one running point.
I am a workhorse for the team.
I do not just spray bullets at the enemy.
I have my place. It is in your face, or looking over your dead body.
I am invisible because I am observant.
I am lethal because I am presice.
I take my time and choose my shots, they do not choose me.
My strength is my team, I am not a lone wolf.
I am lethal with many weapons, A GL or frag in my hand is extremely dangerous.
I am a rifleman and I know my job.

Demo

I am not a rifleman. I will not be first to engage in firefights.
I am not a support expert, I will not empty a clip to draw fire.
I am not a sniper. I will not engage a target from the rear.
I will not innitiate a firefight, no matter how small.
I will not be clearing rooms.
Running point is not an option.
I am the reason the rest of my team is here.
I am not invisible, I am not lethal. I am neccessary.
I know my place, it is to complete mission objectives.
I am a Demolitions expert and I know my job.

Recon/Spotter

I am a scout. I will see the enemy and know thier weakness.
I am stealth. I move slow and deliberate.
I am not a Rifleman. I will not be on point. If you are right behind me, you are already dead.
I am not a sniper. My primary weapon is intel.
I am not support. While you are engaging, I am ahead surveying.
I will give my team the advantage by risking my life.
I do not clear rooms, I report on the dangers in the room.
I am invisible because I am careful.
I am lethal because my team now has an eye.
I am a Recon expert and I know my job.

Mout/CQB

I am death up close.
I will be breaching and clearing rooms.
I am not a sniper. My range is 50 meters.
I am not invisible. I am lethal.
You will see me for the last two seconds you live.
My job is to hit hard and hit fast. Surprize is my primary weapon.
I know my place and it is in the battle.
I am a Mout expert and I know my job.

Squad Leader

I am not a rifleman. I will not be first to engage in firefights.
I am not a support expert, I will not empty a clip to draw fire.
I am not a sniper. I will not engage a target from the rear.
I will not innitiate a firefight, no matter how small.
I will not be clearing rooms.
Running point is not an option
My job is to think fast and give orders, all the while knowing my mens lives are in my hands.
I know my place, it is to lead my men to complete the mission objectives.
I am the Squad Leader and I know my job.

Medic

I am not a rifleman. I will not be first to engage in firefights.
I am not a support expert, I will not empty a clip to draw fire.
I am not a sniper. I will not engage a target from the rear.
I will not innitiate a firefight, no matter how small.
I will not be clearing rooms.
I do not lead the squad.
My job is to heal and revive the wounded.
I know my place, and that is making sure every one on my team LIVES.
I am the Medic and I know my job.

Tank Driver

I am not a rifleman. I will not be fighting on foot.
I am not a support expert, I will not empty a clip to draw fire.
I am not a sniper. I am loud and heavy.
I will not be clearing rooms.
I will not be healing and reviving my team members.
I do not lead the squad.
I am not invisible. I am lethal.
My job is to drive and destory opposing armor and personal.
I know my place, and that is bring fear to the enemy.
I am the Tank Driver and I know my job.

I can't find which forum the above part comes from here at TG or who wrote it. But my guess would be the old Ghost Recon Forum. I'd have to ask Virt2l where it comes from Since he posted it on the SOG forums and referenced it from being from TG.
