    TacticsBoard

    I just this today and haven't had a real chance to check it out: www.tacticsboard.com. It's a browser based real time tactics management tool. If anyone has a chance to look it over, please report back if you think it might be useful for squads, scrims or whatever.

    For WaW, with no tab out without crashing from the server, this won't be useful in game but possibly pre game or for TGU stuff.

    This will take more than a quick look. I'll try and see how it works on a couple of 4 maps and share the findings.

    Wow this could end up being a really useful tool. It would be like the map in ArmA were you can add way points / targets etc for the whole team to see.

    If you run WAW through steam you have access to a web browser ingame without a crash.

    Well, I could get to the site ok with the x-fire browser but the actual map image and tools would not load.

    I wonder if they plan to make it an overlay one day...

    Heh I answered my own question by browsing through their forums..

    BY: "Support" - excellent, u'll be pleased to know we are working on a way u can bring up your tacticsboard in game!....stay tuned..
    Also I found this post of ideas how we could incorporate all of our custom maps into the program, really neat..

    It would work with any game you play to be quite honest... I don't know if they thought of that though..

    I have tried it and it is quite awesome. Hot damn this is sick!!!

    You could essentially make a Defensive/Offensive plan while your dead "Save" that plan and bring it up to show your team what you would like done on that round.

    I would like to get a couple people together and try this thing out either in WaW or COD4.

    Im glad you like the TacticsBoard system, and thought Id register here to post updates and to answer any questions etc.
