Scenario Game play Are you up for it?

The map Derailed, the targets are now moved.
Making for a more tactical game play.

    From: Gen. G.S.Patton

Here is to the best of my knowledge the situation:

After our bombers took out the tracks and DERAILED the train supplying the German front; the remaining Germans managed to get there needed supplies off the crippled train and hold out in some suddenly abandoned farm houses to the South East.

The Germans have not managed to contact headquarters to inform the top of there situation just yet.
If the Germans manage to get through to HQ and inform them of there situation and position; the Germans at the front line will be resupplied threatening the allied front.

The German high command may decide that the two tanks left intact on the train are of value and,
    launch an offensive after all.

As a Tactical Gamer Marine your job is to blow one of there two remaining supplies.
Making it less of value for the German high command to launch a rescue operation.

Marines you will need to steal one of the two remaining tanks off the crippled train to help this mission succeed.
The Germans are going to possibly be ready and on the defensive so use all the squads tools at your disposal.

Squad Leader must command his squad to accomplish this mission.
"The whole squad needs to be ready and willing!"

Once first mission accomplished the squad must hold out where the Germans have been holding till the next day.
This needs to be held till reinforcements for the squad are dispatched and routed to the DERAILED site.

Below is a reconnaissance image taken shortly after the tracks were bombed.
We managed to rescue the area constable who has given us a better description of the area.

Squad Leader you will need to instruct your squad of the tactical map.
Use "key words" for places of interest and directions as to the way you want each person in your squad to reach each point of interest. Make sure each member of the squad understands what to do once they have reached each tactical point of interest.
You are going to need a specialist that can drive a tank for he will be a great asset.
I believe a great marksman could take out there SL before he tries radio in artillery. The Germans are in 88mm radio range. "Take there SL out and there radio days maybe at an end!"

Sounds like fun, Ren. When were you planning on doing this?

Yeah, sounds like fun. I like the flavour text, but I'd benefit from a more rigid description of conditions, events and game flow.

I don't know? it's up to you guys I just posted it because it sounds fun.
I changed the coordinates to all spwan, ojectives, and bomb and gave them to Drona.
If you guys set this up please count me in on it.

I got the idea cause three parts.
I think it's a lot of work for Krag to make a grid for every map; and we all know they will keep coming out with new maps all the time. Also on cod2 this is how we all did it, it was a very, very good way to promote cohesiveness and help everyone to develop a common battle communication.

I had times worked out to coincide with the sog-mod as it starts 4:20 hours; but to quote a line from one of my favorite funny movies "kids these days attention can be judged in nanoseconds!" so I scraped it.

I think WWII guys were just told to go to an area and told to hold something and I am sure everything was also made up a little on the fly.
However it's up to the NCO or SL to make the on the fly decision as to how to work it out on the field.

But if I were an NCO or SL and from looking at the recon map, I would send my best sniper up into that mayors house and someone to watch the stairs and help him, who knows maybe a Mount or Recon(Mount or Demo). The other tank would be in there direction that they faced.

I'd send two after that #1 tank left on the train have them head for the bridge and hold at the Old Creek rd.

Two would go to the farmers field with the SL.

Mount or Demo would go tunnel and work his way out the tunnel if possible; to make lots of noise when the go ahead is given!

Sounds like a blast. I think most of the guys playing on this Mod have some patience to wait a bit though.
Don't shorten the times too much.

No, I mean I don't get it. Is the objective just to blow up the bombsite?

A while back ren and I talked about making the maps feel more like missions. In other words give them more personality then they currently have one of the things that i want to work on in the mod is a new menu with a map like ren has posted as well as lets say mission details.
maybe suggestions on how to kit up ect.
