    Downfall sound files

    Downfall. Is there anyone that knows where the infuriatingly incessant, German tannoy racket, sound file lives? I've trawled through the .iwd files t6o no avail. A clue, just one tiny clue, before I have to avoid going on Downfall ever again!

    Well it lives within the ff file they have now moved most sounds out of iwd and compile them in the ff file.

    yes, I do but here is the problem you would need to recompile the ff file and since you don't have all the source from it that wouldn't help, and then you would also need to have that new ff file on the game server as well.
    So in other words just do what I do and that is forget you even hear it, to be honest I don't really hear it anymore.

    Oh well, I'll give up and try to ignore it, God knows I'll try. But I don't hold out much hope!
