Punkbuster currupted file/memory or disallowed program driver

I may have found the fix to my issue on Punkbuster. I think it was 2 fold. Once error was the corrupted file/memory which I think had to do with fraps running at the same time. I have never had this issue before but I was able to play this afternoon for about 1/2 hour with no problems.

The other error disallowed program/driver - I had to reinstall the game then stair step through 7 patches, update PB serveral times and it seems to work now. We will see soon enough.

I only have had an issue when running fraps in multi player but it works fine in single player or when i run my own local server. Its strange but i have encountered some of what you have talked about.

I just had this exact message from COD 4. But it seemed that Steam was the problem.

Had some Steam issues with ArmA II as well

I guess I'll just use x-fire for the moment lol.
