Thanks.
If it was me who moved unlike last turn, I'm sorry.... My memory is really bad (I'm playing for Snarlin). I didn't do anything intentionally unfair, I just don't have a short term memory... And my "friends" may argue about me having a long term memory as well.

Yes, doing no tech brokering on the honor system is a pain. And yes, redos are a pain as well but they happen. We're rolling again so it's all good.

Thanks as always to everyone for their patience and thanks to Soccer for reinforcing what was essentially an unstated assumption when people are doing their turns over.

Namliam is still around for sure...I think only one turn was missed?

Speaking of the Zulus, has anyone heard from Wenz? It's strange how he completely dropped off the radar like that. In any case, it's been long enough now where I'd propose that the nation be given to namliaM permanently.

Like Namlian mentioned he wrote an email to me. There are some things going on in his personal life. So he will miss more turns this week, at the end of the week he will notify if he will be able to play or he will start looking for a new sub.

And no nothing from Wenz, very strange indeed.

If he's going to be missing turns then getting a sub sooner than later would be a good thing. After all, we have an epic war to fight.

Re: PTBS Warlords: A City Too Far - Signup

Sorry yall,

I was at that time unable to arrange a sub. At the time I was home for the only 30 minutes I was home since last Tuesday. At which point my Sister in law (30 yrs of age) was admitted -in critical condition- in Hospitol.

I am sad to inform you that she was "given up" on yesterday, due to to much damage to her brain. She slipped away quietly later that afternoon.

Been busy arranging stuff and running around. Things should quiet down from here on in, tho things are obviously still far from normal... So turns will be less than perfect probably in execution but in particular in timing.

Please dont mind me making a DM or anyone DM-ing me.... for the time beeing... Just try to not raze a city without me knowing .

Thank all for understanding.

namliaM out *and off to yet more stuff*

Re: PTBS Warlords: A City Too Far - Signup

The Alliance of Confucian Kingdoms (aka A.C.K.) is pleased to report that we have just had reports back from our troops that a major victory was achieved against the Zulu and Grizzlia alliance.

The Buddhist bastion of Hi fell to our troops after 3 decades of intense warfare which involved 100+ military units from both sides. This was actually our alliance's second attempt at the city after the first was repulsed by the surprise appearance of Cavalry units and which resulted in a fierce Grizzlia counter-attack. The front line barely held and we were successful in regrouping, introducing Riflemen and Cannons, and then going on the offensive once more.

While we are greatly pleased with the success of this offensive, it doesn't diminish the daunting task that is still ahead of us. The drive for Zulu lands continues so that we may directly deal with the largest threat to world peace.

Wang Kon, Koreans
Mehmed II, Ottomans
Ragnar, Vikings

P.S: A.C.K. also shelters Elizabeth and the English, former victims of Zulu tyranny.

We must sadly confirm this downside in Grizzlia history. But the people are still believing there will be justice done in this world.

Who is here the aggressor? They hide behind some smooth talking, but they made a pact with the devil himself. They think they can rule the world with their heathen religion.
Let's all unite against the evil ACK and let them burn in hell.

Re: PTBS Warlords: A City Too Far - Signup

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm going on vacation until Monday. I'm going to try to connect each day but I'm not sure if the beach house has internet or not. If I'm unable to connect and the turns go their full 24 hours, I apologize in advance.

Thanks
