Even with all that though....looking back I can't help but feel we were lucky to even get the hour in. ![]() I'm not going to organize another live session for this game. I will take everything I learned and hopefully get a full 2 hours of play in for the next game though. I think we got far enough along in this game where some people have bumped into each other and many have or are likely close to having 2 cities. That should hopefully make it a bit more interesting. Others may disagree but personally I prefer having the time to think about things between turns (real life permitting of course). This is first and foremost a strategy game and I hate the feeling that I'm being rushed or missing something because I haven't had time to think things through enough. Bernout |

Are you sure you're using the no-ip.com address to connect and not the numerical IP address?

Re: PTBS Warlords: A City Too Far - Signup
I agree, we have a nice pace of turns so far.
Yesterday night the power supply of my pc broke down, but I spent half of today to get my old computer up and running, and thank god civ warlords is running on it. Man this is soooo sloooow, got myself a coffee and cigarette while connecting to the game, but hey, its working =). Probably get myself a new one tomorrow or tuesday, so please be patient with me until then. |

![]() BTW, all 12 players are now registered on CivStats for anyone wishing to do diplomacy that way. Although I highly recommend the Private Message system here at TG. For those aching for a "reply all" feature, please reference: http://www.tacticalgamer.com/hardwar...tml#post722258 Bernout |
