I like to use civstats as well... though i find it a problem that it often takes several turns before people reply..

For whatever reason (likely a failing on my part), I'm not getting e-mail notification that I've rec'd a diplo. message. That means that I have to check the Civstats diplomacy page before every turn. Not a big deal. I just have to remember to do it.

Did you look in your spam filter for these email notifications?

edit: /ps: new power supply seems to run nicely, and makes no noise at all /

Just go under preferences and uncheck and recheck options. That tend to help things.

But you shouldn't use it for other things, than diplomacy.
I will take my turn, when I have time and messaging me about it, will not help you, to take my turn any sooner. ;-)

LMAO. I was going to say something like "Try increasing your dosage a bit.", but your reply was much more tactful.

I am only a bit impatient... though as long as you aren't last you won't get messages from me. Counting civstats messages to me is a good way to see how many times you were last in taking your turn

There isn't really any point in sending diplomatic messages about being last since I get one from the Pitboss server and one from the CivStats page.

No need to spam me, either. If you can't take your turn before I go to work so I can make mine, then you might be waiting for 15 hours until I get home from work. There's a reason why the timer is set for 24 hours.

I think d23 had some hardware problems and might be unable to play...

Well, unless he finds a way to let us know for sure I would be hesitant to turn his nation over to the AI.

How about we come up with a ruling that if a player misses 3 turns without prior notification then we can go ahead and do that?

Normaly those kind of rules are clarified beforehand. And like 6 turns is more normal. I would try pm / emailing him first though(both here and civfanatics / civstats).
