Well, one thing I noticed is you are logged into a different account...chunkylover77 as opposed to XSChunkylover77. Could that also explain some of the PM confusion?

Yep, I've sent him a PM on this already. Apparently he's on a business trip and his son is supposed to be covering. I'll go hound him again.

Just remember...if you are missing key resources chances are they are probably not too far from your starting position.

I think the bigger impact on everyone will be who is next to them and what happens with the placement of those 2nd and 3rd cities.

Agreed... this is a crowded world, and people might have crowded each other on strategic resources. Some borders could get hot and bloody pretty quickly.

Sorry... was in Hawaii on business and my son had the reigns and didnt do a very good job. He is a very good CiV player.. just not very responsible (sigh 15yrs old) I ripped him a new one even though now I am woefully behind I hopefully will catch back up.

Avnair has been missing a few turns recently and I just wanted to do a quick posting here letting everyone know that it is not going unnoticed. He's had some personal family issues to deal with.

Yeah, April 24th was the last time he took a turn. That was 11 days ago! We need to get subs in faster, especially as the game progresses and more happens each turn.

I'm not sure if you're talking to me as an admin or the players in general. As an admin, it's not quite as simple as just having someone take over. As long as a person has control of a nation it is their choice as to who gets to sub and when and whether they want to queue stuff up and let the 24 hour timer expire. It is only in extreme cases, such as Wenz disappearing on us in ACTF, that I would turn the nation over to the AI and have someone take it over cold.

In Avnair's case he is currently in Washington on holidays and was supposed to be doing his turns from there. Since that hasn't happened yet I'm not sure if he just hasn't had time or isn't able to do so...likely the latter. If someone is at war with him I'd buy the argument that we should arrange for someone to take over. Otherwise, we're just going to have to suck it up as I suspect most of us hate seeing that timer expire.
