Same here. Does the "Connecting to host" bit fine but then hangs at the "Connected to host"..?

Should be back up now. Very strange. There was a dialog complaining that it couldn't create Levgree's recovery save file. I hit the OK button and everything seems to be continuing normally now. Apparently it paused the server while it was waiting for someone to acknowledge that fact. Go figure.

Thanks - in the middle of the night I was trying to connect, couldn't, and will now likely miss the turn because I'll be out til late tonight.

And to think - I spent hours last night getting the home office up and running - we moved during the day.

Hey, in the middle of the night I was sleeping.

I think I may have seen this happen perhaps once before in all the games I've hosted so hopefully it doesn't happen again anytime soon.

On the plus side, it paused the timer as well so when I hit the 'ol OK button this morning the timer still had over 21 hours on it. With the funky Civ4 timer mechanism that means over 24 hours of real time to get your turn in.

I should be able to get the server back up in about 2 hours or so. I'll restore to Twahn's last login which should put about 14 hours on the timer.

Server is back up. My computer was powered down so must have had a power glitch in the morning.

Sigh...Internet connection dropped at some point during the night.

In any case, I restored prior to my own turn last night which put 14:15 on the clock. The people affected are myself, BrainDamage, namliaM and possibly JMaltman.

Hopefully this is enough time for everyone to get new turns in. If the server is down when you go to do your turn then please let me know how much time you need on it when I restore. Otherwise I'll try to get us at least 12 hours.
