Thanks! Although everyone who attended and hopped on TS2 (many for the first time!) made the whole experience a lot better and easier. Oyzar in particular was a big help...it was obvious he's done the real time sessions before.

Even with all that though....looking back I can't help but feel we were lucky to even get the hour in.

I'm not going to organize another live session for this game. I will take everything I learned and hopefully get a full 2 hours of play in for the next game though. I think we got far enough along in this game where some people have bumped into each other and many have or are likely close to having 2 cities. That should hopefully make it a bit more interesting.

Others may disagree but personally I prefer having the time to think about things between turns (real life permitting of course). This is first and foremost a strategy game and I hate the feeling that I'm being rushed or missing something because I haven't had time to think things through enough.

funny i only can connect when hamachi is running. I though it wasnt needed after the live session.

Are you sure you're using the no-ip.com address to connect and not the numerical IP address?

I'm not sure how you could connect with the Hamachi address since I'm not running it on the server right now.

Make sure you are using the tgciv4.no-ip.org address.

I agree, we have a nice pace of turns so far.

Yesterday night the power supply of my pc broke down, but I spent half of today to get my old computer up and running, and thank god civ warlords is running on it. Man this is soooo sloooow, got myself a coffee and cigarette while connecting to the game, but hey, its working =). Probably get myself a new one tomorrow or tuesday, so please be patient with me until then.

Good start to the game for sure.

BTW, all 12 players are now registered on CivStats for anyone wishing to do diplomacy that way. Although I highly recommend the Private Message system here at TG. For those aching for a "reply all" feature, please reference:
