Nah, an inconvenience as I said but a reload would be a bigger inconvenience for everyone. If we could get someone to log in before the upcoming turnflip, it would be great though...

Re: PTBS BTS: The Terrible Twos - Signups
My ally appears to have returned

I'll give Snarlin as long as I can this evening before I take my turn.

Re: PTBS BTS: The Terrible Twos - Signups
I managed to get a hold of PurpleTurtle, and asked him to log in to redo our one-sided deal. This will give us 10 turns until the AI can cancel it again, hopefully that will allow CH to return, or a replacement player to be found.

Re: PTBS BTS: The Terrible Twos - Signups
Impressive. Is it 30 combined or each? (I'm at 32 or so myself in this game.)

By the way, this site seems to load incredibly slowly for me. Any idea why? It's only these forums, and not any others.
(Sorry for the OT.)

Re: PTBS BTS: The Terrible Twos - Signups
Nik/Oyz had a nice continent to themselves. Probably the biggest total available land area.
Fin, Colossus, and early workboat contact with Munro and I for overseas trade routes let them support a huge empire. (Oyzar is darn good at REXing too)
And its each.. I haven't counted since their latest war, but they were over 40 total before it started.

Nah, it's not each - it's just me. Oyzar doesn't have that many.

Re: PTBS BTS: The Terrible Twos - Signups
Bah! I should be ashamed to have so many if they had simply been given to me by my teammate

What is all that swapping between the pair of you about anyway?

Re: PTBS BTS: The Terrible Twos - Signups
Purple turtle has shown, up and that makes it easier for me, since i did not have the time to play both civs. And yes Niklas does have the most usable land, which s why we tried to take it from them, but we were too late and now they are going to win easily.

Re: PTBS BTS: The Terrible Twos - Signups
You mean it is not already a done deal? It is looking pretty done in my part of the world ... all except for the passage of time.
I assume swapping cities to get building bonuses ... we did a token amount of that, maybe they did it wholesale?

Na, they're more Rustens cities than mine, cutlurally speaking

Re: PTBS BTS: The Terrible Twos - Signups
Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm quite certain that PurpleTurtle didn't intend to play any more than just what I asked of him. At least not right now, since last he said was that he would be out of touch for a week to visit relatives over Easter. So he still needs to be kicked back to AI, and a replacement found.

Sorry to disappoint you, but your part of the world isn't the whole world so to speak. I'm not surprised it looks like a done deal to you...

We've swapped cities for a number of different reasons. Building bonuses is one, but definitely not the main reason. We haven't really swapped that many cities though.
