Please note that the game format in the first message of this topic has been modified with the addition of the following:

End Game

The end of the game will be determined either by player vote or by an in game victory condition being met. In the case of the vote, the following procedure is to be followed:

1. A vote to end the game may be called by any player but may not be called within 30 days of the previous vote (if any).

2. The vote will be held in these forums for a period of 1 week. Every attempt will be made to get a yes or no vote from each player but in the event a player can not be reached it shall be counted as a 'yes' vote.

3. At the end of the week, if a yes vote results in the game ending then the player with the highest score at that time will be the winner unless they concede the victory to someone else.

I'd be perfectly happy to replace namliaM (only temporarily, if necessary), providing PurpleTurtle is okay with that.

It has been a while. I'm not sure how closely PurpleTurtle is paying attention to these forums so I'll send him a note in game to get his butt over here.

If we need to make this a permanent substitution then let me know.

Ok...this is now a problem. As Oyzar pointed out to me, PurpleTurtle hasn't been in game now for 10 days either.

Emperor, if you are up for it please go ahead and take over namliaM's position. I'm going to kick both nations over to AI control as soon as I get home tonight. If I don't hear from PurpleTurtle by the end of the week then we'll need another sub for that nation as well.

If need be I can take over my old civ, once mu cast is off my right hand. Just to let you guys know I cut my middle right finger only a few days before Christmas and just after I found replacements, so it was lucky that I did so. I can play again from either Friday or Saturday my time
