I'm available anytime Sat or Sun, but I'll need to make a few arrangements, so just let me know when you want to do this.

And, as I understand it, PitBoss will require everyone to make a minimum of one turn a day. If we start out playing for a few hours and one person leaves, then we can only make one turn until that person makes his turn OR 24 hours pass (in which case that person would lose his turn). We can always make arrangements to have everyone get together on weekends to play a full hour or so, too!

I like this idea. Sure it'll be slow going during the week, but who cares? It'll make the strategic decisions more important.

Hey Trooper, we'll start the game this weekend sometime. We'll start with a regular play session that will last at least an hour. We can go longer if everyone is up for it, but everyone playing should understand that if someone has to leave after an hour, it's ok and we'll switch over to the 24 hour turn timer when the first person leaves. So post a time during the weekend that you'll be available for at least an hour so we can all get together.

Cing, I'm open to the idea of having a second play session on the following weekend, but I don't want to pressure people who might be short on time but still want to join a game of Civ4. Once everyone joins, we'll see where people stand on having a follow up session.

The server can handle several games at once so if other people want to start a game on the server where they are going to have a scheduled session on each weekend then they can start a PitBoss game like that and people joining that game would understand from the start that they are going to be expected to play the following weekend too.

Sounds perfect! I wouldn't be interested in pressuring anyone, as I'm sure that there will be weekends when I will be unable to game... I was just thinking of it as a bonus if we could manage to all get together for a bit on the weekends...

Anytime Saturday except between 3 and 10ish
Anytime Sunday before 7:30
(work schedule is weird)

As far as Mongols, it looks like Trooper has already requested that Civ, if you'd like to play another Civ, please post your second choice.
