Alright, looks like the time is settled.

AI slots will be available for takeover by players who are unable to make it to the initial starting session. Players who played in the starting session can post up a list of their neighboring AI they feel would be a good position for a human to play.

IP address and server password will be PM'd to all participants. After you connect and select your Civ, you'll be prompted to enter a password for your Civ, please enter one that you'll remember. After you're in game for the first time, press ALT-D and enter your email address so you will get an email when your next turn is ready.

Welcome to the game Vulcan, I'll put you down as Spain - Isabella.

The only thing you need is the latest version of Civ4, which you probably already have, v1.61. Show up on Saturday at 1pm EDT, we'll play normally for at least an hour, then after the first person leaves the game will switch to the 24 hour turn timer. To play your turn just connect to the server whenever you have time and play your turn. You'll be notified via email when your next turn is available, after everyone has made their move or 24 hours have elasped, whichever comes first. This way we can play as many turns per day as we'd like, as long as everyone is playing at the same pace.

New turn emails went out, so make sure you got one. If not, check with Apophis who can look in the mail server logs to see if anything went wrong.

Is there an easy way to save the IP/password within CivIV?

The IP stays in the direct IP box till you put in a different IP. I don't think there's a way to make Civ4 save the passwords.

Yeah, I saw that. That'll work. I don't see myself playing more than one game at a time. Well, for now, anyway...

So, if we want to get more than one PitBoss game going, it has to be on a different IP? I don't think that would be a problem for TG, but that's kinda a pain in the butt...

Um...guys I forgot to write down the password. I received the email saying it's time to take my turn, but have forgot the password.
