problems installing COH

Just got it the other day and my dVD drive seems to just keep spinning as if it's scanning the disc for data but not finding anything. has anyone else experienced this? It's happened to me before w/the BF2 set but not with other games so I don't want to entirely declare the drive as bad

Sounds like it could be your drive if it's done it with other discs. Try exchanging your disc for a new one (Best Buy is usually cool about this if you got it from there). If not, you may be boned.

Do you use steam? You may be able to put in your CD-Key into steam and Download it from steam.

Just a theory. This worked with the Orange Box.

Re: problems installing COH

I installed a second DVD drive in there and it read it fine. So...maybe BF2 will be installed soon.
