Re: The "Post Your Playbacks" Thread
Whoo-hoo! Just finished playing my first ever match online and had a blast. I don't really know how well I did since everyone else there were rookies too, but it was a blast. I kicked butt, went allies Armored Company and kept cranking out Shermans. The field repair bonus is GREAT since I underutilized my engis here.

Re: The "Post Your Playbacks" Thread
Been playing a bit more online, so I thought I'd post some replays if anyone is interested in watching. After starting 0-2 in ranked 1v1's, I've won my last 3 in a row. Here's the last two, both on Angoville:
This one is a blowout, but shows how to quickly grab map control at the beginning of the map. I won the game really in the first 10 minutes with effective counters to his foolishly-placed MG's. It shows the strength of garrisoned rifles vs. garrisoned MG. Angoville Replay #1 The second one is a bit back and forth, but I still beat the guy by a decent margin. He tries a Stug spam and I respond with rifle spam + stickies before getting getting Shermans and then the 76mm gun upgrade. Angoville Replay #2 Edit- BTW, these are both on v. 1.4.

Re: The "Post Your Playbacks" Thread
Me and evo got to play a 3v3. Our team lost, evo loosing first, then me, and then some other guy. They used a great tactic buy ccutting us off from movement.

Re: The "Post Your Playbacks" Thread
a good fight with evo against 2 very skilled players(at least in my eyes)
http://www.uploading.com/files/SHN5Y...48_41.rec.html we were kicking ass at first, but then we were really getting pestered long enouygh for us to have not that much, and for them to bring in the nasty stuff.

Re: The "Post Your Playbacks" Thread
Wow, an epic battle on Semois. It goes on for about an hour, with me unfortunately needing to go AFK in the last 2 minutes of the match because of a houseguest!! Not sure if it affected the outcome, but damn I came close a few times to coming back.

Re: The "Post Your Playbacks" Thread
This is not one of my own replays, but I thought it was so good I'd post it in this thread. It's a 2v2 on Rails & Metal that goes right down to the wire with some great use of Allied War Machine and excellent grenadier, stormtrooper, and tiger micro by the Axis side. This replay is a great example of teamwork on both sides.

This is a replay in Semois. I had 50 kills, 6 losses, so dont download for entertainment. Its more educational than anything else. He wasnt a great player, but it may help axis players that dont know what to do when its reversed. Things to watch for:

Re: The "Post Your Playbacks" Thread
Just finished a game with InfernoBLT
- It was a 2v2, we were down most of the game but we made a brilliant comback in the last 15mins. We were @ 60 tickets remaining and the enemy at ~400. we capped some points and held them until we won. Excellent show of teamwork and strategy. ww.uploading.com/files/AYB72SE9/4p_lorraine.2007_01_14.02_12_57.rec.html

Re: The "Post Your Playbacks" Thread
I had another game with mroczny today. I used the same strategy as axis in Angoville reversed as i did last time. He also did the same, going BAR rifleman and airborne. This time, however, i cut him off from fuel so badly in the first ~20 minutes of the game that he never actually built a Sherman. Lots of MG and AT gun flankage throughout.
Its about 40 minutes long, tons of action. In fact, 340 deaths between the both of us. One warning though, there is some profanity. But thats just what comes with a replay from me ![]() http://www.uploading.com/files/9Z4GO...12_14.rec.html And a quicker download for GR accounts: http://www.gamereplays.org/community...owtopic=193324 Last edited by Santa; 02-03-2007 at 09:08 PM. |
