Re: The "Post Your Playbacks" Thread
Bunkers can be really useful when you upgrade them with the repair station ability. It rules late game to be able to retreat your tanks to your bunker and have the little men repair them automatically w/o having to micro your Pioneers around or worry about them getting shot.

Re: The "Post Your Playbacks" Thread
Heres a .5 replay with me using defensive. Its about a 30 minute game. I started off badly, especially in my MG positioning, but then the halftrack came out and that was the beginning of the end for my opponent. Im still getting used to how much things cost, how many of each i need, and how quickly to get to T4. The major thing i missed in this game were building bunkers, and i think that was partly due to how many units i lost in the beginning. I also need to work on my macro, because near the end i had a lot of idle units.

Heres a replay as me on axis side on beux lowlands, the new 2p map. I did a great job of cuting him off, and denying him points.

Re: The "Post Your Playbacks" Thread
Oh man this was a crazy ass match. I went with my usual T2-T4 defensive strategy. The combined arms worked wonders, and the 88 absolutly tore it up. TONS of allied tanks made it difficult though.
Here is the replay on GR.org: http://www.gamereplays.org/community...owtopic=200933

Re: The "Post Your Playbacks" Thread
I came SO close to beating Golradaer. IMO he and nystrom are the two best allied players, at least from what i can tell by watching their replays. To see my thoughts on the match, you can just go to the GR link below.

Pretty much all axis players, at least in 1 vs 1, are having a very diffiicult time with the new patch. At first it seemed like everything was balanced, but allied players quickly learned to make every single change help them. Im trying out a new strat to counter it and attached some replays with it in the thread linked to above.

My mortar in this round absolutely tore everything up. Everytime he got into a building, my mortar was within range and made him pay for it. His sniper was a real nuisance and i probably should have built one myself instead of all the bikes, but oh well.
The ending is hilarious too. He sends a croc in and no matter where he goes, there is some form of AT that hits him.

Re: The "Post Your Playbacks" Thread
That happened to me before the last patch. I was too lazy to do it, but i believe you just have to re-install the game or wait for another patch.

Re: The "Post Your Playbacks" Thread
I like how he repeatedly attacks the brunt of your defenses head-on instead of massing up and pushing from the south where you had nothing...

Re: The "Post Your Playbacks" Thread
I have two replays to post.
The first is a 1 vs 1 i had today. I went defensive, he went armor. I used my grens to move around fast with my halftrack and had my 88 covering everything. I also threw in a mortar to keep him on his feet. Pretty good game and i dont think he knew how to beat my defense.

The second replay is the most intense game of CoH i think ive played yet, probably because i wanted to beat that bastard freeno so badly. It was a 2 vs 2, with me and hand vs freeno and norcal. I dont really have a strategy for this map, but i know that since two bases are so close together, the fight in the north is more about wiping your closest opponent off than it is about fighting over resources. I was up against Freeno and some very intense battles ensued. I think what turned the tide for me personally was the tech back to WSC as well as getting that pershing out.
