The dropping issue is actually a server side mechanic so a patch is not needed (unless I am completely wrong, but I don't think so.) That whole connection and drop issue sucks, I'm sure the patch and server update will fix it- hopefully.

It'd be nice to support direct IP connection. Maybe they'll throw that in the patch.
