My copy won't work!!!
I have the same copy on my desktop computer. I tried installing it on my laptop. It meets recommended requirements for XP. It loaded the game fine. But, when I applied the patch I get an error and it stops loading. It says something to the effect that the I don't have the same version that it is patching for. It says that the files may be corrupted and suggested that I reinstall the game. So I did, but it still didn't work. Any suggestions? Did I violate copyright infringement? Do I need to get another copy of CoH and OF? Argggh. I wanted to load it on my laptop for my trip this weekend. Any suggestions are welcome.

Just install it on the laptop and lan the patch over to it and install it so there is no downloading. It can be found in
C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes\Patch
****NOTE**** Where I have typed "User" would be your login on your desktop.

Which patch are you trying to apply? The most recent patch for vCoH can only be applied to the game in the 1.40 state or the 1.71 state.
