Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the first, of many Tactical Gamer "Community Spotlight" articles. This article serves as the first in a series of articles that will soon transition into a "Month in review at TG" series. This series was created at the behest of Apophis himself during conversation and I look forward to seeing it grow. So, let's get started shall we?
DayZ
DayZ has become a massive hit here at TG, to the point of us prepping to officially support the mod on one of our own ARMA II servers. It was brought to my attention that several very talented writers are creating very detailed, near in character after action reports for this mod and I wanted to start bringing them to fore front. What else is new at TG?
"Ten Ton Hammer" calls this "The Year of the Gun" and we agree. With Dust 514, Planetside 2 and Firefall all coming out the year of the MMOFPS stands to bring 3 groundbreaking MMOFPS Games into the world. TG plans to support all 3 games with forums, in-game clans and the like.

Firefall
Firefall is now in public and open beta and has been for some time. It's a Quake-like shooter experience with a deep story line featuring an out of game "manga", staged content releases, and a dynamic world. If Firefall sounds like your cup of tea then take a look here:

Dust 514
Eve Online is very much alive at TG, though only in small number, we are still very active and conducting combat operations and scouting daily. With Dust 514 just around the corner, I've requested a new forum be created to support it. Being a Console title though, this will be something new for TG'ers to get involved with. Any questions or comments about Dust 514 can be directed to Damion Rayne.

A BF3 news note from General_Alvin
Now that the first DLC, "Close Quarters" has been released TG runs one of it´s BF3 servers exclusively with the new maps and game-modes. The new game-mode "Conquest Domination" offers new tactical challenges that are sure to keep the community busy. The DLC also offers new weapons and assignments sure to keep the Battlefield franchise relevant in the TG community for a long time, especially with the upcoming DLCs to be released at regular intervals this year.
