How's the MP Campaign?

The MP campaign puts you in the shoes of the coalition. Currently it runs very well as they took all the updates from ETW for the multi campaign and rolled thm into NTW along with a few more updates. Currently the only downside from MP is that when a friend egages the AI, you cannot spectate and he/she has to auto resolve the battle. A friend can take the place of the enemy AI and fight you but for most that's not the reason for playing the MP campaign. There are talks about adding in spectator mode as it's already inplace in the PvP mod.

For anyone interested in mods this is the "Home Depot" of mods for NTW or any total war game at that. Also a great place if your having any issues as most people just bypass the steam forum's and go right to Total War Center.

I am a huge fan of RTW and I have played M2TW & ETW a few times, is this game worth it to buy a whole new one?

I can personally say that i will NEVER go back to ETW after buying NTW. yeah you get less factions but in ETW all the factions were about the same in unit's. in NTW there are over 300 new units, none of them the same and each faction really serve's a purpose. I really am impressed with how they overhauled most parts of Europe, besides spain, and cut it up into smaller pieces. Global domination isn't the same as ETW because you can only do Campaign of the coalition in MP coop campaign so you can't go to the middle east.

I think anyone who is hard core and owns it can agree that NTW is superior to NTW.

So far the best experience with the Total War series by far was RTW and the Stainless Steel mod for M2TW, I'l give NTW a try though.

Those two were exceptional mods.

Sadly not my era of preference... bring on the roman legions already!

I absolutely love this era, buying a brand new rig JUST to play this game :P

Is there a proper TG forum for this game? I have been playing for a week, and this is all I am playing these days. Would be nice to have a real forum.
