Well, the beta is over, the orders are in and Bad Company 2 is up and running here at TG. We had an awesome preview inside the beta that left our mouths watering for more! The squad work is great, the weapons super, and the buildings destructible! What more could we want? How about a server? Three?

At the get-go we will have three servers.
Two of the normal servers as well as one Hard-Core server. Pick your poison!

Bad Company 2 is the latest game from EA/DICE in their much loved Battlefield series. It brings the never-before-seen-to-PC engine FrostBite allowing for destruction of almost everything on the map. A wall in the way? Blow through it! Fence? Cut it down! You can do it all with this completely new feature to a TG Battlefield game!

New kit customization is better in BC2 as well! Want a shotgun with your medic kit? No problem! Shotgun with assault? No an issue! Maching gun with engineer? Go for it! With many unlocks and the constantly changing map dynamics the potential for reply is huge!

My understanding is they are still adapting the engine to support remote admin tools so we can't expect reserved slots for a little while. Is that still the case?

From all I've been able to glean, reserved slots function. However, the code to connect the SM database info over to the BC2 server is not written. For the time being, we won't have automatic reserved slots.

J/K...good to see you. I'll be picking up this game in a few days and I'm looking forward to a nice change of pace from ARMA. This seems like the perfect foil for the realism so well done and well loved in the ARMA world.

BF2 is at the heart of my TG roots and I can't help but get the feeling this title may recapture some of that original magic.

Whaaat E-male? Where have you been man. I was just wondering why there are three servers for this one game, while the PR server is struggling to keep up with the new version. Don't make me buy this console game . Although I would consider it to play with you again. Good to know you're still alive at least!

I don't think I'll be joining you, guys. Much as I hate to say it, it seems that events--Counter's death, completing my new house, aging (7800GT) system and unending unemployment--have stripped me of all wherewithal to continue having good times with all my online brothers. Add to this the fact that the mother of two of our godchildren just got arrested and may go to prison. There is a good chance that we will be given custody/guardianship, meaning...BACK TO DIAPERS!

(changing them, not wearing them, eFlight.)
