After three long years, the wait is almost over, Medal Of Honor is right around the corner. Set in modern day Afghanistan, this game has been labeled as a "reboot" of the entire Medal Of Honor franchise. Official release date is set for October 12, 2010.

Are you a fan of simulated racing games? Have you had a chance to play Dirt 2? If so, you may be interested in a Dirt 2 racing event that ACOGRecon is hosting.
ACOGRecon would like to announce three day WRC inspired mini-tour. This event will feature both Rally and Rally Cross races - each of the three days will be held in two venues each. The event will be scored by points earned in each round of the tour. Whoever holds the highest amount of points at the end of the tour wins. In the event of a tie, a single special stage head to head will be run to determine the winner. Expect each event to run at least an hour and a half.

Recently the devs at futuremark have been giving Shattered Horizon a makeover. In response to their lackluster critical response they have been trying to make their first game a bigger success. I for one am glad they have stepped up to the plate because in my opinion shattered horizon is an innovative game worth playing and making better. For 15 bucks this is one good game to own.

Tactical Gamer Interviews: Apophis
Welcome to the first in an ongoing series of interviews with the people behind, and sometimes in front of, the scenes here at Tactical Gamer.
Around the end of last year it occurred to me that I’ve spent 2+ years here at TG and have met a lot of good people. More than that, there were a lot of good folks that I had only either heard of or spoken to briefly. As I start this I hope that I can bring to the rest of you some insight and knowledge of the people I know and hope to meet. These are the people you and I owe our thanks to for making Tactical Gamer what it is today…the premier online gaming community for mature tactically oriented game play.
That being said there’s no better way to start than at the top. In January I sent a private message to our founder and leader Apophis asking for his approval of my project and if he would sit with me for an interview. What’s follows is the result of our enjoyably candid conversation of February 18th …

MISSION/ABOUT THE DEVILS
The 6th was founded based on the actual Devil's Brigade (1st Special Service Force), which was a joint American-Canadian commando force established in 1942. The idea came in a gestalt to our founders, eGoatBoy, who is Canadian, and Wimpinator, who is from the US. Shortly after, these two evil geniuses picked up several more members from the US and Canada and began plotting the imminent invasion of TG. However, they implicitly understood that we couldn't just limit our roster to North America and soon began picking up members from all over the globe.
