Some suggestions?

I'm ordering the rest of my computer parts this week... I want a dual-core.

Can anyone suggest some decent (but somewhat cheap) parts? Are there any sites out there besides newegg and pricewatch?

Also, does it matter what kind of CD-ROM I have, or hard drive for that matter?

Your input would be very much appreciated.

Miss you guys !

Re: Some suggestions?

You need to post exactly what you have ordered up until this point if we're to give you any sort of suggestions.

Re: Some suggestions?

You can keep your old hardware for screen, keyboard, mouse, case, optical drives, and disk drives. Granted newer is usually better (keyboards are a big exception) but you don't really need to replace the drives unless you find out you need to replace the drives, and then you can do that at a later date.

Re: Some suggestions?

You should really go with www.newegg.com (if you find it on eBay, don't buy it; if you find it on a site you've never heard of for really cheap, don't buy it).

Hopefully soon Soulja... Right now, I'm driving half and hour back and forth to my parents to pay bills and forums, etc.

You have no idea how much I miss you guys...

Thanks for all the input, gentlemen.

Re: Some suggestions?

Yeah, I just fixed up an old computer myself. Not THAT old, good motherboard, great videocard. Just needed a cd drive and a hard drive. Which are both cheap.

Anyways, hope you get it up and running soon. Getting kind of old only hearing deep male voices ingame.
