I'm not really trying to play Devil's Advocate, but "general idea" does not equal "Not crackjumping and not abandoning your main objective in leiu of killhunting in the slim chance that they might kill everybody and technically win the round".

If you want to have a successful scrim we have to first agree on consistent rules. I've played on FSF many times before, (many times as KELIBUTTSEQUES, but that's not the point...), but it's a gungame server. It'll probably take a while to get another team up to speed with what we expect as organized, teamwork, and objective-oriented gameplay. I want it to happen just as much as the next guy, I'd just rather not have to deal with the confusion and frustration of people from another community coming in with no idea of our expectations.

To the FSF guys - I'd LOVE for you to participate with TacticalGamer. The best thing that could happen would be to have some more communities want to interact. It's just important that they truly understand what they're getting into.

TG and GunGame have about as much in common as RuPaul and mullets.

Re: Scrim request.

Actually, the general idea of the TG way in my opinion is doing your objective, and crackjumping is always a major issue that everyone gets told in there first time there, so yes i would assume it would.

Re: Scrim request.

I think we can still play but TG has to uphold its rules as a team. All in all it would be fun and maybe atleast we might get some new faces on our server and theirs.

I think you guys should, the more the merrier. And it's real easy, here's the link to the "IHS starter kit" that was recently made:

http://www.tacticalgamer.com/wiki/in...s_Creating_IHS

And can't you just all agree on the rules before the scrim? And then get the other team to play on the server to get a feel for the "TG way"? Then they know how you would like to play the scrim. I know that's how it's done in other games.

I played with some of the FSF guys and girls here today, and they seemed totally into the TG gameplay. I saw no crackjumping and they played the objective like they should. Solid teamwork, communications and no lone kill hunting.

Bring that scrim on!

Re: Scrim request.

I think the most important rules as far as "TG" gameplay goes would be crackjumping and realistic ledges.

As long as they aren't doing that it should be relatively fair.

Getting gungame kiddos to refrain from simply rushing our spawn or regularly sending out "flanking units" to do that 2 minutes into a round is another thing...

More tactics will be implemented or executed with greater potential if the in-house play gets implemented is my thought.
That's certainly not a given. Competition imploys the objective of win. Teamwork, Objective and communication will go to the wayside unless the people involved care more about that than winning, then what's the point of competition? That's possible in CSS because you can have one person who dominates an entire team.

anyway this is not really the thread for it.
