Re: 32nd Strike Force

Reminds me of the good ol' days when we had Vicious, Boing, OIJ (all the equivalent of in-house squads back in that era which was a looooong time ago) all playing CSS. We had some really good matches between the squads too!

Now put a link into your signature, like my cleverly hidden link, so that all who see your sig and want to know more, can find it at an easy click away.

While being in an IHS means playing together and improving as a team, it shouldn't be about representing exclusionary and better than you attitudes. While I'm sure you meant it as a joke, and it kind of depends who is on the other end of it, but throwing something like that up with no JK or whatnot in a forum post that everyone could see and miss the inside joke could very easily be taken that way...

So we cannot have inside jokes about our IHS, while other people publicly display their inside jokes, even if I take them the wrong way?

Re: 32nd Strike Force

Have inside jokes all you want...but don't get all in a tiss if someone doesn't understand and takes it the wrong way and get an entirely wrong impression of you or your squad. You represent something more than a single player now. Keep that in mind.

Re: 32nd Strike Force

I was not getting in a tiss, i was just seeing what you guys thought of my input as that is what i see all the time on the forums. And i know i represent more now too, and thats why I am wondering for my friends sake too.

Re: 32nd Strike Force

Everyone has made good points. Try and see where it's coming from and learn from it. Nobody's saying not to joke around and have fun. We're saying to remember that people who aren't "in the know" may take some of the inside jokes to mean something other than intended. And by doing so, you end up completely misrepresenting yourself.

Re: 32nd Strike Force

It was supposed to be playful banter. I expected someone to come up with a clever come back, but that didn't happen.

I apologize if it was offensive Shadow, it wasn't meant to be.

It wasn't a "Hahaha, we are better than you because we have an IHS now!"

It was a playful comment made between fellow gamers.

And, it was NOT an inside joke, it was a regular everyday joke. People say almost that exact same thing all the time in the real world with their friends.

Re: 32nd Strike Force

An ihs squad can be whatever they like, unique, weird, not uber leet etc. As long as it's within TG's basic rules. So don't let people tell you what to do, do your own thing and have fun!!! Good luck.

As for avatars, they are all very cool, but Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one bird so ours wins......
