Qualification: These ribbons are being awarded for exemplary performance as the role of sniper. These individuals have shown to understand the concept and proper execution of the sniper role and have excelled when tasked with this responsibility. In addition to a proficiency with their weapon, these individuals understand proper sniper positioning and fire and movement techniques critical to the success of a good sniper. The also fully grasp the important role Snipers play as reconnaissance assets to their team.
