    UNMOVABLE OBJECTS
Since you aren't an irresistable force, I fixed it. Made them non solid. Since they are static, I can do that - unlike the next item below.

ROCKET THINGIES (That is a technical term)
Weird... the forklift personal thingies.. (hand lifts, not the powered car-like ones).
If they are physics, it gives that rocket throw you thingy, but can't compile as a static. So I think I'll just have to take them out. Some small boxes act similarly. I think I'll just make some small boxes out of blocks and textures. I already made some large crates because the washer/dryer boxes seem dumb/out of place in this warehouse.

Right. And being able to fall through the elevator roof is not accidental, right?

Well, now you can't because I have doors put in that will only open if the elevator is on that floor.

    OK... weird
Notice I am looking straight at the wall. i would expect the FPS to be high since you are close and not much is on the screen. But it is 18!

But then I when I turn and look to the side, which shows the same wall PLUS MORE, the FPS goes up to 88!

    What the heck?

I had the same thing on your map. I was in the bottom site, looking at all the smoke, lights, and whatnot, getting 130fps easily, but then I looked at the boxes in the dark, and bam! It dropped to around 30.

I haven't built cubemaps yet, would that be it? (Because I read that you shouldn't do that until JUUUST before you finish the map)

    Re: My map so far.

Interesting... it appears to be the building that is causing the problem. If I am at the building and face away from it (so distance of viewing is the same), FPS goes way up.

I'm going to experiement with other textures and see if they are better.

Yeah it seems to only be the exterior building, I pull 10 FPS... Finally a map you can kill me on!

    Re: My map so far.

It's better now, but I had to do some major changes to get it to work. Now to start slowly adding things back in. Gotta do it one at a time to make sure it works. (windows, doorways, sewers, roof)
