Noob are you starting the game under the Zombie EXE. and not the CSS run? Plus not sure if you need the HL mods also. Also check what Vulcan posted in the SOP forums on the game version. That might help.

    Re: zombies

    several ways to start game
    1) when steam is started, I right click on the steam icon and select servers.
I have both server 1 and server 2 added as favorites already. I double click on server 2, type in password and boom, it automatically opens up zombie panic source
    2) when steam is started, I right click on the steam icon and select games.
I scroll down until I see zombie panic source. Then I start it up. I open up find servers and you can add TG to favorites by IP. 70.87.55.28

    Both of those work.
As I said before, just to repeat.
I had to go to c:/programfiles/valve/steam/steamapps/sourcemods
I deleted the whole ZPS folder.
Downloaded the install and did it again.
    That worked.

I was missing HF2: DM to install this one. But found that free if you have a nvidia/ati card here:

    Re: zombies

The mod works without HF2: DM, Source SDK base only needed. Trickery!
