Speaking about the popular cookie snack filled with fig, referred to commonly in America as the fig Newton.

(This may not be verbatim, but it is close.)

Disciple: "It's like a pastry of sorts, the inside is filled with figs. It's quite delicious."
Random: "Is it a cookie?"
Myself: "He's British he wouldn't know what a cookie is"
Disciple: "Of course the British know what cookies are you twit"
Random: "Wait, cookies aren't called chips?"
Disciple: "No!"

(I know that the British know what cookies are, I was just hoping elevating the situation to a ridiculous level for personal pleasure.)

I remember way back in my earliest days with TG (so early, in fact, that I was still getting used to using voice communication) this one time I threw my knife away and said "goodbye knife" and someone replied something like: "oh, he's gonna get you for that!" and I realized that |TG| Knife had joined just before I said that. Naturally I explained myself: "I was talking to my knife, which I just threw away". Some people found that humorous.
