    Eh, I'm pretty sure any type of soldier/police officer is very trained with knifes.

    Might I also add, these soldiers and police officers are definitely NOT trained to, when in a gun fight/breach situation, sneak around behind people to get a knife kill... allowing the chance of one of their squad members getting shot... They are trained to use knives as a last resort when their own life is depending on it and it alone.

    As much as I LOVE stabbing people over the internet.. and I do . The game itself is still the determining factor of a valid knife kill, and not a show off kill. As CQB as CS is.. .there is so much of a risk factor involved its really not worth it. Say you are sneaking up behind someone to knife them, your buddy comes around the corner up ahead and gets killed as you sprint up behind the enemy and knife him.... pretty lousy wouldnt you say ? If I was the teammate who died because of this, and I have been on that end a few times, I would be pissed.

    That crazy jungle map is the ONLY knife worthy CS map I have ever seen, in the real sense of an actual tactical knife kill.... everything else is just showing off and everyone knows it, no matter how you paint the situation.

    If the enemies lets say for argument sake, are holding off a room/door way shooting at your squad (police/soldiers) and you want to help out your guys.

    Would you go up behind them and shoot your gun at them and give away your position? Or would you stab them from the back so you don't get murdered in the after thought.?

    Well, seeings how you used the word "enemies".. no I would most certainly not try to knife multiple targets when I have a perfectly good rifle or pistol on me... position be damned when your squad's life is on the line.

    I would like to point out, if you have enough time to "sneak" up on your target, you're not out of ammo. Instead of sneaking up, get behind cover, reload, and then engage. Stop looking for a reason to knife someone, we frown on it because of the countless times team members died because you wanted the knife. If anyone get's the bright this bright idea " I'll just waste my ammo before I engage the enemy and then be forced to knife them" Know I will be watching for it and will be issuing one warning and then kicking people. If you run out of ammo, pick up another gun, there is no need to knife on our servers.

    I would love to see what map you could actually do this on... Most of the time I don't see how you could, just use a silenced weapon.

    Yeah. I agree with Clef on this, I think it would just bring more people to knife and be more "pub style" although I wouldnt mind seeing the silent knife take into effect, but people would abuse that privledge.
