    CTD Only on TG server....

    I have lately had a problem with CTDing on the TG server. This does NOT happen on anyother server I play on(mostly CS_OFFICE). It either gives me no error upon CTD or this:

    failed to lock index buffer in CMeshDX9::LockIndexBuffer

    I am not the "Smartest" with computers and such so I am requesting any info or input on the matter. I enjoy the TG server a lot, but can't play it.

    delete any extra materials or models in your cstrike folder and redownload from the server. Don't cancel a download or you may have to do this again.

    I think I know what you are talking about, but I dont want to delete anything important.

    You want me to delete everything in:

    C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\*****\counter-strike source\cstrike\materials\models

    you will redownload anything you need so don't worry about that.

    Just the cstrike/materials and cstrike/models. Delete the folders and everything in them goes.

    Ok, that fixed the connection issues, but now my game freezes up quite frequently. It happens only on certain maps(I.E Customs).

    I will be playing fine, then all of a sudden the visuals will freeze, the sound will continue, and a cursor appears. Its like I have tried to ALT TAB but haven't actually. Not so sure what is causing this, and would appreciate any input.

    Sounds like bad video drivers to me. Try getting the newest.

    I had that problem with Fallout 3 (bought from Steam), it seemed it was caused by background programs running, such as an antivirus auto-updater. Try disabling as many non-essential background applications as possible and see if that helps.

    man!!!....i feel so dumb right now cause i had the same problem and fixed it..i just cant remember how...i will try to remember or do some research for you..i think ive had every possible and even impossible problems with css but fixed them all....ill get back to you

    New problem! Happens on ALL CS servers I play on at this point!

    "Internal driver error in IDirect3DDevice9::Present()"

    I verify client info then crash. I dont even see the screen you get when you load in. This is really annoying and stupid. Why can't the game just "Work"?
