Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Simple: load up Steam, click on "Browse Games", then the "Package Offers" tab, and select the package that you want. If you like DoD, then I recommend the Silver Package that includes HL2, CS:S, DoD:S, and all the other HL based games that have already been release (not that you or I need them, but I wanted DoD). The Gold Package has a bunch of silly "collectible" stuff and the Bronze only has HL2 and CS:S.

The Valve content servers were fast. I was surprised...

Hurry up and download it so I can shoot you in the face! (actually the reverse is much more likely...)
