CS:S Fusion Pack

Has anyone had a chance to take a look at it?

Pros
· A nice change from the ordinary.
· Models look pretty cool - a tad better than the original models.
· The hud is decent - a bit less cluttered

Cons
· The new voices are a bit...too personal. I heard it was ripped from Raven Shield, or something like that. It's like something from a cheesey action movie.
· The Techno music that plays at the end of the round is horrible.
· The weapon sounds are pathetic. The AK sounds like an air rifle. The Mac-10 sounds more powerful than the Para. Real disappointment.

I didn't get a chance to check out the other models.

Overall
Avoid at all costs...not really worth looking into.

Aww...I was hoping to get some new/better model packs. Right now the T/CTs are very hard to tell the difference at range and in low-light conditions. Ah well, guess I'll wait for the next model pack to come out.

From what I have read, you should steer clear of this. Apparently it sucks. Not to mention it changes your browsers homepage to theres. Which in my book is a major NO NO!! There is also no uninstaller, if I remember correctly.

We don't want to make it too easy now.

My Microsoft Antispyware program prevented them from changing the homepage. There is an uninstaller (in Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel).

PunkAssFraggers have some really nice individual weapon models in their downloads section. The AK and M4 models are lovely, among others.

Re: CS:S Fusion Pack

I will never, EVER, support and download from Gamesfusion. One, the replacements they use suck. Most all of them have bad models, bad origins, bad animations, IMHO. Anyhow, I'm not sure if they continue to do this but I do know that they used to steal peoples' free replacements, shove them into a pack, and charge people for it. A lot of skin creators I've seen, upon releasing skins, will have some sort of comment putting Gamesfusion down, and telling them to f**k off and keep their hands off of their skin.

There is a section for CSS releases down at the bottom. Check some of those out. It's too bad that you have to use default animations in Source at the moment. They seriously suck.
