Few maps are suited to it, but the ideal situation is the sniper/scout combo, and that's 'scout' as the role, not the gun. Of course, the scout should carry the tmp or MAC, but in today's world....you know he'll buy a SAW as soon as he can afford it. (That's one of the cool things about TF, imho - classes limit weapons, giving built-in strength/weakness).

I always hated getting in a close quarters battle with an enemy with an AWP and loosing even if I had a shotgun.
Worse thing seeing is watching a guy with an AWP covering a door 2 feet away as if he had a submachine gun or something similar.
