Re: Team work
let me know when you want a copy of the hammer file for jungle map ghost, i'll send it to ya!
I'm making good headway in the modelling section, i picked up LW8 and was able to mess with textures a little bit. some basics i will need to know not to much. still trying to figure out workflow of converting the model so hammer can use it..
Hope teamwork gets better i have noticed lots of really good teamwork and really bad work on both pubbies and tg's. good days and bad days.

Re: Team work
Sure, shoot it out to me if you want some help and I'll see what I can do.
Give me some direction though so we aren't wasting time working on the same stuff.
Right now I'm good to go with buildings, rooms, spawn points, lighting, skybox etc.
I'm not sure about modelling new objects yet. I don't know what tools I have that I can use to convert standard 3d graphics formats into .mdl files or whatever is needed for Hammer so I can place it within the map.
Here's my hotmail: cmmpro@hotmail.com
(Its better through hotmail than my profile email for large attachments.)

Re: Team work
basically we just have to build a base environment before any level design can start. I have the terrain started with some other bits and pieces put in. What we'll need to is put around the outside edges some thick jungle looks type stuff. Trees and vines foilage to make it look as though your deep in a jungle. One good technique for making trees is creating a spikes and texturing them with a bark texture. Needs lots of green though with it! you can talk to me on msn as well cjshelby@sympatico.ca
