Feel free to nominate people for admin status. As you're thinking of nominations, keep in mind that a bad admin can do far more damage to the server then a bad player.


...and as a side note, if anyone thinks any of the admins are doing a good/bad job, please PM Apophis the details. Feedback is important!

What are any requirements to become an admin? Example, being a payed member, time spent on the servers, ect ect.

In the past before HL2 came out I played the shizzle out of TFC and a few other online games. Most of the servers I played on had specific sets of criteria that had to be met before one could even begin to be considered an admin.

P.S. I'm not an ass-kisser, and I hope no one expects me to be.

I use the page_admin when neccessary, but when there is no response for 30 minutes, usually means there's no admin. Then by 30 minutes the problem took care of itself, or "you" took care of the problem yourself.

Hahahah Cing, I don't believe in kissing butt. I don't like people who do, and people who kiss MY butt I dislike as well. I believe people who do such things are looking for an easy way out, and that is the worst way to go about it IMHO.

I'm shocked that hastapee thinks I would be a good admin, but again, its not up to me. I would like to see page_admin become used more often instead of just adding more admins. Granted, not everyone is familiar with it, and there is no guarantee it will summon an Admin with whatever mana it uses.

Maybe there should be a poll started on the subject of adding more admins?

Very good point, and well put. I dislike having to take care of the problem myself when there are no admins around... spamming your binds for "follow the rules" and the 6 other different ones a million times gets nowhere. If someone wants to be a jackass, the will. And with noone to stop them, this is how they get off. These (explicit text deleted) get their jollies by pissing other people of, and communities like TG are their prime target.

YES! I was on the servers sunday night? We had 2 ppl who insisted on rushing and tk'ing and they were warned an insane amount. We paged admin over the course of maybe an hour until Asch finally got there. BTW ty Asch

why not just make votekicks possible for all. Most of the time if we want some1 to leave, all of the usuals want this...but set the percent required to like 75% just to be legit
